Astral Projection

What is Astral projection?

When it comes to Astral projection, some Earth natives are naturally adept at it, and some need to try hard and practice in order to achieve it (and continue doing it).

Astral projection is the free use of the Astral (etheric) body, where one willingly leaves the physical body “behind”, and goes out to venture into their esoteric body.

This is, otherwise known as OBE (out-of-body experience), and it is very common to see a silver or a red thread from your physical body’s navel tying your etheric body to it.

How does Astral projection feel?

It’s very common to feel the “bright” tingling in your Crown and Solar Plexus chakra when you’re experiencing (or are about to experience) Astral projection. If you ever had a water balloon (or a condom), or an egg broken down on the top of your head – you’ll be very familiar with the feeling.

When it comes to a feeling in the Solar Plexus region, you might feel like someone’s tickling you, or you might feel a sudden wave of chills. Your physical body enters into a state of hibernation when your Astral body leaves.

This is why it’s perfectly normal if your temperature drops for a degree or two, and if you feel like regions of your body (especially the head and the stomach) are colder.

It’s also quite normal for you to see your physical body lying as if you’re sleeping, below you, and to be able to observe it. Although, if you’re an explorative and eager spirit, I doubt you’ll spend much time watching yourself sleep, you’ll rather just zoom off to a place/person you want to see.

Traversing the Astral Realm

When in the Astral realm, your ability to teleport is active, so you might be surprised (during your first time) at how quickly you’re getting places. Movement in the Astral realm happens in real-time as your thoughts happen, so there’s no commute or transit from place A to place B.

You’re completely free to “sightsee”, aka use flying as means to getting to the desired place, of course, but it’s not necessary. You might fly at first until you get used to teleport wherever you want to be.

Astral projection is not limited to our planet alone, either. When Astral projecting you can visit other planets, solar systems, galaxies, and universes. You can go to your home planet, you can see your Soul Fleet, and you can meet your Higher Self, spiritual guides, protectors, and muses.

The one thing that’s most important during Astral travel is to never lose sight of the silver/red cord that’s tying you to your physical body. There’s talk among the mages that if you go “too far away” from your physical body while in the Astral realm, your cord will get cut and you’ll remain stuck in the Astral realm as a human ghost.

I wouldn’t go as far as your Soul cord getting cut, but it’s quite important that you keep an eye on it, and fortify it before you venture “too far” in carbon terms.

Ways to fortify your Soul Cord

Work on your Solar Plexus chakra daily. Drink yellow teas, plant yellow flowers in your home, eat honey, and use yellow cups, glasses, and plates. Light yellow candles before going to bed, eat sunflower seeds, spread honey over your stomach/navel and hang around with a lot of Citrine. Do abs!

By strengthening your Solar Plexus chakra, you’re strengthening the Soul cord that allows you to go unbothered and without worrying farther and farther away from your physical body.

Work with the guidance of your Higher Self and your spirit guides on how to become more aware of your Soul cord and fortify it.

Be mindful when you bless the food and drinks you take into your body – Reiki your food, pajamas, utensils, and bed – bless it and make it a fortified safe haven for your physical body when you leave it.

Astral Projection trivia

Watch Ghost Hound anime – it can give you a very good (both visual and emotional) picture of what it is to Astral travel, and what it may look like.

Practice lucid dreaming for a start; it can be a very useful and practical interlude into Astral travel.

Have a strong desire to Astral travel! Some natives didn’t do anything in particular before Astral projecting, and they managed it solely because they developed a desire to do it/try it out.

Say to yourself every night before going to sleep “I am going to Astral project now”, and develop a habit of writing down your travels during sleep at waking up.

Keep a glass or a bottle of filtered water by your bed, not just for hydration, but also as a token for your Astral body to recognize your physical body’s surroundings once it wishes to return to it.

Be very persistent with Astral projection, don’t give up if you’re not remembering your astral travels. It’s more likely that your conscious (human) brain is blocking your memories from Astral travel, rather than you’re unable to perform it.

Be diligent and work on any subconscious fears you might have surrounding Astral travel and projection.

Work on opening your 3rd Eye and on fortifying your subconscious mind. In the Astral realm, there’s a plethora and a wide variety of esoteric and etheric beings, some of them might scare you, and your conscious brain might want to protect you from that fear, and that’s the reason why you don’t remember your projections.

Final word

Astral travel might sound like nuclear science, but it really isn’t. It’s an inborn ability that most of us possess, if you really wish it and think about it most of the time – you’ll be able to do it, and then hone it and fortify it.

Believe in yourself, believe in magic and most of all believe in the endless possibilities that are a natural state of the Soul and being.
